Catherine Creek and Tracy Hill

This Sunday was day two of my weekend quest to get away from home and look for some sunshine. Saturday was very sunny, but today the weather gods proved too formidable and the grey and wet came back. Luckily for me, I chose to hike on the dry side of the mountains and I was able to escape much of the rain, but I still got sprinkled on lightly as I hiked one of my favorite Columbia River Gorge areas, Catherine Creek.

Leash? Yeah, probably a good idea wherever you hike.

I followed the trail up and when it gains the ridge, I took a left on the ridge and kept climbing. At the time I just considered this all to be the Catherine Creek area, but later I found that this hill in particular is called Tracy Hill.
