Ancient Lake with the PWC

In April of 2015 I led a group from my club to Ancient Lake in Central Washington. This was a big trip in the fact that it was also Hayden's very first backpacking trip. He's had an overnight pack for some time but this was his first opportunity to get some use out of it. I've posted about trips to Ancient Lakes before so I'll spare the details. It was a fun trip and we are planning on doing a similar trip next year.

Hayden helping Megan set up her tent. This was one of Megan's first backpacking trips after breaking her back and having surgery 2 years prior.
Ancient Lake is a popular place for horse back riding as well

One of the other lakes. It is called Ancient Lake but there are actually three of them.
Sun starting to set
The sun was starting to set so Paul and myself took a quick hike over to the ridge to the south to get a look at Dusty Lake.
Old growth Sage. It was probably 10-12 feet tall.
There was a boy scout group to the south of our camp. This was probably the busiest I've ever seen this area.
