Can't get the $*@*!% stove to light. After 3 days of MREs we really wanted a hot meal. And I had some really bad taste in clothes back then. These were k-2 specials.

Even before thru hikers made it popular to wear tennis shoes while hiking, I was ahead of the times. Unfortunately I didn't realize cotton socks would still give me blisters.
