Staircase

I was on a mission to hike Mt Townsend this weekend. I started driving that way but it was raining really hard when I got near that area. I changed plans at the last minute and drove south on 101 all the way down the Hood Canal and headed up towards Lake Cushman. The weather was much better down this way so I decided to just do a little hike at Staircase. The old bridge on the Staircase Loop hike had washed out several years ago and they recently (within the last couple years) replaced it with a much nicer suspension bridge. I figured this was as good a time as any to check it out. Below are the pictures from that short little hike.
