This was a tough day hike I did with Isaac and Greg. It was around 18 miles and 6000 feet of elevation gain. We started at the Deer Ridge/Slab Camp trailhead and went down the Slab Camp trail to the river. We then got on the Gray Wolf trail and hiked up to Three Forks where we took a break at the shelter. After the break, we started up the Three Forks Trail to Deer Park where we had lunch. After lunch we headed up to the top of Blue Mountain where we took another long break and enjoyed the view from the top. Finally, traveling cross-country, we made our way over to the Deer Ridge Trail where we descended back down to the trailhead.
