This was my first year to ride in the Peninsula Wilderness Club Pub Pedal in Seattle. It was a great time and I hope to do it again next year. We were expecting rain for much of the day but we were lucky that it didn't start until we reached our first pub. It rained on us pretty hard between our first pub, the Old Town Ale House and second pub Hale's Ales but the sun came out after and it turned out to be a beautiful day. We made it all the way to the U-District's Big Time Brewery and Alehouse before calling it a day and heading back. One of the highlights of the day for me was lunch at the Old Town Ale House. I had the special of the day which was a soup and sandwich that was to die for. The other great part of the day was riding the bike trail. I really got to see a side of Seattle I had not seen before. It was a most excellent day with some good friends!
