Dawn's friend Stacy was re-listing in the navy and invited us to attend the ceremony. They lived in Connecticut at the time In Groton. We flew out there and stayed with him and their family and got up and drove in to New York for the ceremony. He re-enlisted at the top of the Statue of Liberty. It was really cold when we were there with a negative 4 degree wind chill. I'm not sure I've ever been in such cold weather before. In some of the pictures, you can see the pre 911 Twin Towers.
