Yosemite with Brian – Memorial Day Weekend 1993

Not being so smart, I decided to drive to Yosmite for Memorial Day in 1993 without any reservations or anything. My friend Brian who I worked with at K-2 tagged along with me. Luckily, the weather was not the best so there was a few vacant spots at the campground. We hiked to the top of Yosemite Falls while we were there. Nice first impression of Yosemite.

Not so happy campers. After a day and a half in the car together, Brian and I were really on each others nerves. Notice our ugly matching K-2 mountain bike jackets. Since we both worked for K-2 at the time, we probably picked these up for really cheap at the K-2 store. I can even see the molding resin all over my shoes in this picture, lol. My clothes were always ruined from working there. Good times!
